About us

We are a dedicated non-profit organization driven by a powerful purpose —to groom, uplift, educate, and empower female youths, particularly those who are vulnerable and face limited options. Inaugurated on the 8th of April 2016. Our mission revolves around equipping these young ladies with essential skills, providing them with comprehensive free training over the course of one year, and ultimately empowering them with the tools they need to excel in their lives. We recognize that for many of these young ladies, our program represents their only viable opportunity for a brighter future. We are proud to inform you that our organization is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission with registration number RC:130422. In addition, we have taken the necessary steps to safeguard our name by securing a trademark with the Federal Ministry of Trade and Industries.

Furthermore, we are officially registered with the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Youths and Sports, solidifying our commitment to youth and sports-related activities within the state. These registrations and certifications attest to our compliance with legal requirements and demonstrate our dedication to operating in a legitimate and recognized manner. 

To bring about a transformative future, we must actively engage more young ladies in our mission. The question arises: How can each person contribute to being part of the solution? One crucial aspect lies in encouraging and supporting female youths.

We are delighted to share the remarkable outcomes of our endeavors, as we take immense pride in declaring that more than 800 young ladies have successfully completed our rigorous training and empowerment programs. This achievement stands as a testament to the effectiveness and positive impact of our initiatives. Through these programs, we have equipped these aspiring individuals with invaluable morals, skills, knowledge, and opportunities that empower them to thrive in their personal and professional lives. We remain committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of young ladies and will continue to strive towards expanding our reach and enhancing the quality of our programs.

Within each Local Government Area (LGA) in Akwa Ibom State, we proudly boast a registered membership of over 1000 committed and dedicated purple girls. Additionally, we have Akwa Ibom indigenous daughters residing in Bayelsa, Cross River State, Rivers State, Abia State, and Imo State, who are affiliated with our association, with a membership exceeding 500 purple girls in each of those states. These committed young ladies consistently return to their home state to exercise their voting rights during elections, demonstrating their unwavering dedication and connection to their roots.

Our organization is dedicated to identifying and empowering a specific group of young ladies: vulnerable young ladies residing in rural areas who have been deprived of formal education opportunities. We understand that for these young ladies, our programs represent their sole pathway to a brighter future. With great care and diligence, we actively seek out these deserving young ladies, recognizing their unique circumstances and the challenges they face. Our commitment to inclusivity drives us to provide them with access to quality training, discipline and empowerment initiatives that can fundamentally transform their lives. By focusing on this underserved group, we aim to bridge the educational gap and empower these young ladies to break the cycle of limited opportunities. Through our targeted efforts, we strive to offer a lifeline to these young ladies, empowering them to overcome adversity and embrace a future filled with endless possibilities.

At our organization, we have developed a unique approach that sets us apart in our mission to empower female youths. After providing a comprehensive free year-long training and skill development program, we take our commitment to the next level by empowering these young ladies with the tools they need to excel in their chosen entrepreneurial paths. 

However, our impact doesn't stop there. We believe in the power of multiplying our efforts by creating a ripple effect within the community. After the initial training and empowerment, we assign 3 female youths in each Local Government Area (LGA) who show interest in what they do to these already trained female youths where they serve as mentors and trainers for other aspiring young ladies in the area. 

We do not only empower the initial group of female youths but also ensure the sustainability and expansion of our impact. These already trained female youths in each LGA take on the responsibility of training their assigned female youths, passing on the knowledge, morals, discipline, skills, and support they received during their own journey. Through this cascading effect, our unique approach enables us to reach and empower a larger number of vulnerable young ladies across different communities. By creating a network of empowered mentors and mentees, we foster a culture of support, learning, and  entrepreneurship, amplifying the transformative power of our programs. 

We firmly believe that by empowering one, we have the potential to touch the lives of many, creating a lasting impact that extends beyond individual success stories. Our unique approach is a testament to our commitment to not only train and empower female youths but also to create a sustainable cycle of empowerment and transformation within the communities we serve. We don't just touch one, we touch many.
